Then I look back on all of my pictures and blog posts. A mass of memories; new friends, new family, new places, new experiences, new life. Both my Canadian life and Danish life seem completely disparate. Right now Canada feels distant, like a whole different world from another period in time.
Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it will be great to be back in Canada when the time comes, but I'm not ready to go back now. I'm not prepared for this extraordinary year to end just yet.
The first half of my exchange flew by. I swear I stepped off the plane, blinked and now I'm here, half way done. I guess I must have been having a lot of fun. In fact I know I was, I know I am and I know I will.
They say that the second half of your exchange goes by even faster than the first and I thoroughly agree. My calendar is almost entirely full for the next 5 1/2 months. There are a lot of upcoming trips and activities. I'm scared to blink.
So cheers for a successful first half of exchange in Denmark and cheers for the next 5 1/2 fabulous months to come!
